TANNING FAQ

ABOUT THE SPRAY TANNING FORMULA WE USE & THE PROCESS

The process takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes plus an approximate 5 minutes for us to dry you with our warm aired drier .

  • Come in completely clean. Do NOT wear deodorant & Do NOT put on any lotion.
  • Depending on the line preference, you may prefer to be nude or topless or wear your own undergarments.
  • The solutions do not stain.
  • The solutions are fast drying.
  • The solutions are odorless.
  • The solutions result in a natural looking tan.
  • Depending on the type of solution used, for optimal results we recommend waiting to shower for 8 to 12 hours with the original and gimme brown solutions, 1 to 4 hours for the Express tan and 30 to 90 minutes with the Super Express tans.
  • The shade achieved will be determined by how long you choose to leave the solutions on.
  • Shower with Aviva Labs Shower Glow or water only the first day. A▪ What should I use to prep my skin? Exfoliate with a non greasy soap or scrub. Anything with oil in it that is not thoroughly cleansed from the skin, will create a barrier between your skin and the applied solution thus creating an uneven complexion.

FAQ

▪ When do I get my massage? 24 hrs before or after your sunless tanning session. Continued moisturizing after your sunless tan will help it last longer.

▪ When do I get my mani/pedi? No less than 24 hours before your first tanning session.

▪ If in fact you must wax it is recommended doing it at least 48 hours prior to your session, waxing may leave a residue that can create a barrier between your skin and the tanning solution. Thus creating an un-even look.

▪Shaving prior to application of self tanner & spray tanning is recommended for a smoother appearing outcome.

▪Wear loose fitting dark colored clothing to your treatment.

▪DON’T workout right after a spray tan, sweating can cause streaking.

▪Bring a towel to sit on if you have leather car seats.
